From ductwork to fire trucks

It’s an exciting time here at Macy Industries; the projects we work on are just awesome! This week, we visited a job site for a new three-story condo complete HVAC system. Then we stopped by a factory where we replaced all the sheet metal tanks, safety rails, and catwalks. Now our current project is moving large equipment vertically to save space. We have the team and equipment to build structural frames that can hold tens of thousands of pounds!!

Hooksett Garden Club Bridge of Flowers

HOOKSETT, NH – JULY, 2016: The Hooksett Garden Club is seeing the results of months of hard work, now that its “Bridge of Flowers” is complete. Drivers going over Memorial Bridge will see 48 flower boxes filled with 192 bright pink Supertunias, which should be in bloom into the fall. The club and the town work jointly on this Hooksett beautification project.

Although the project is not new, this is the first year an irrigation system is in place so the boxes do not have to be watered manually. This involved getting approval from the N.H. Department of Transportation and having a unique system designed by North Point Outdoors.

Hooksett Bridge of Flowers Beautification ProjectMacy Industries provided all 48 stainless steel stands, the hardware installed on the bridge to
accommodate the flower boxes and all the components for installing the watering system. The Bridge Committee, led by members Doris Sorel and Mary Farwell and other club members, worked with Diane Boyce and Phil Arnone of the Hooksett Highway Department, town engineer Jim Donison, Town Administrator Dean E. Shankle Jr., and Marcel and Nicholas Mercier of Macy Industries to make the flower boxes possible.
